The Committee had already been meeting on Praslin and a sub-committee responsible for the Culinary side of the event had also been working with hoteliers and restaurateurs on Praslin. “It has now been confirmed by Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture that new date will be communicated soon as discussions are already underway with the Tourism Board to try to merge it and this year’s Tourism Day Celebrations together especially as the Tourism Board wanted to put the island of Praslin in the forefront of Tourism Day 2016″ said Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Tourism Board.
