Major General Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria met Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture at the annual general meeting (AGM) 2016 of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) that is being held in Seychelles on Saturday 23rd July 2016.Minister St.Ange of the Seychelles said as he welcomed former President Obasanjo of Nigeria to Seychelles that he hoped that the former President was having quality time to also discover and appreciate the Seychelles. “I am so happy and I will be back soon” said former President Obasanjo before adding that what you are doing is great. In an interview with the national press, former President Obasanjo stated that Afreximbank’s meetings will put the limelight on Seychelles as a potential country for investors in Africa. “You cannot have a better means of showcasing what this country is doing and attract investments”.
