2boulBouldou and Boulfor are words which sound familiar to our elders, these were types of cakes that was a delicacy to our grandparents back in the days. With the same name, the National Art Council organized the Bouldou/boulfor exhibition for the first time fifteen years ago to commemorate the creole festival. This year the second edition was being organized to commemorate the 3rd edition of the National  Arts Festival, which was officially opened on the same day. The exhibition was held at the National Cultural Centre on Friday, the Minister for Youth Sport and Culture Idith Alexander and other high officials were present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

The Bouldou/Boulfor exhibition showcased a diversity of ideas from various artists, a fusion and mixtures of colors. People could appreciate and discover a type of arts whereby a singer, a poet or a writer would write a piece, a song or a poem and the painter will interpret it through a painting. A form of art which surprised many of the public. Patrick Victor our well-known local singer demonstrate that form of art with his colleague artist Danny Sofa, where he sang a song with his guitar and Danny did a painting. This piece  captured the attention of many who were present.

The exhibition also commemorated the opening of the art garden. In the art garden which was opposite outside of the National Art Council, the public could appreciate poems by our local poet, fashion shows, and many musical animations.
