The prize giving ceremony took place at the Maison Football, Roche Caiman on Tuesday morning in the presence of the principal secretary in the department of information communication technology (DICT) Benjamin Choppy, the managing director of Airtel Seychelles Amadou Dina, among other invited guests.
The competition was aimed at making the population aware of various products that Airtel Seychelles has brought on-line since 1998, much to the satisfaction of the Seychellois public.
Mr Dina stated that Airtel Seychelles always tries to support the community in many ways.
“I am really amazed by the ideas from the posters that the students did. I think we need people who can support those young and talented painters who have talent. All of the drawings and paintings in the competition are truly amazing, and they will be shared around the world,” he said.
PS Choppy pointed out that Airtel Seychelles has brought many innovative ideas over the past eight years.
“Airtel Seychelles has always been at the forefront in promoting our local artists, and helping the community. Those types of engagement can bring a lot of positive atmosphere; it can also develop the character and values of the youths and adults,” he said.
Airtel Seychelles has many more surprises coming up during this year, according to Mr Dina.
